Based off of astrological events every year on and around August 8th, however in Aug. ‘17 in which there were 2 eclipses in the sign of Leo, the cosmic energies were extra potent; a time of intensified “light energy” which is said to enhance spiritual awakenings, bring new insights/awareness. It is also when the Earth (in particular the Great Pyramids in Egypt), the sun & the Syrian Star System is in exact alignment. 8 is a powerful number, representing infinity, power, divine, connection, rebirth & higher realms.

Much love and care went into creating & assembling this beautiful original limited edition piece of artwork! 

Lion’s Gate began its creation as several photographs and textures snapped on Yuli’s adventures out and about. As she meditated, Spirit guided her to which photos she needed to create the digital imagery. The photos were merged and underwent a myriad of digital processes in the digital darkroom. Once the digital image was complete, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a custom solid birch wood panel. The print edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border to draw the eye in and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium to add a painterly aesthetic. It was also during the hand embellishment process & the laying on of hands that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
