Much love and care went into creating & assembling this beautiful original limited edition piece of artwork! 

Strength of Heart and Will began its creation as a simple self-portrait photograph snapped with the assistance of 2 photo assistants to help with lighting on location. The original photo underwent basic edits and toning as well as a few extra digital touches such as the wounds on her back. The spine she is wearing was created from a chiropractic model spine and was given an armored finish and worn by the artist in the photo shoot. Once the digital image was complete, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a  solid birch wood panel that had been treated with an aging compound for a weathered look. The print edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border to draw the eye in and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium to add a painterly aesthetic. It was also during the hand embellishment process & the laying on of hands that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
