Fledgling:
Initially intended to be the next image in my Addiction series to portray the Addict after rehab – their sense of isolation and search for new direction… in order to assure their further success in their rehabilitation, they have to essentially let go of and abandon old friends and their way of Life as they knew it… it’s a whole new world.
Created and released to the public as the world shut down for COVID lockdown, I felt we could all somewhat relate to this idea of being Fledglings… searching for new direction, for hope, health and a sense of calm in a turbulent world where disease and panic threaten to beat down our doors. It is important to note this Fledgling’s sense of CALM and sense of faith.

Limited Edition of 25. Each piece is proofed, numbered & signed by the the artist. This 1st edition piece is signed as her former identity of Jennifer Gleason. All future editions will be signed as Yuli Anun.

Fledgling began its creation as a compilation of photographs artfully blended together through digital processes to create the actual imagery. Once the digital image was complete, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a
hand-aged birch wood panel. The edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium. It was also during this process that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
Although this is a limited edition of 1:25, each original is as unique as a fingerprint. Price may increase as edition reaches its end.
