Preservation of Youth: – 

A whimsical piece reminding us to keep a youthful outlook on life…We get so caught up in our adulting & worrying about our sagging/withering appearance that we forget about the joys of living a truly fulfilling life. To play in the dirt, to pick flowers, to see life thru the eyes of a child with newness and wonder; to get lost in the magic and miracles of living.

Each original piece of artwork is proofed, dated & signed by the the artist. This piece of original artwork is signed by the artist as her former identity of Jennifer Gleason. All future editions will be signed as Yuli Anun.

Much love and care went into creating & assembling this beautiful original limited edition piece of artwork! 

Preservation of Youth began its creation as a single self portrait photograph that was edited and toned in the “digital darkroom.” Once the photography portion was complete, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto birch wood panel that had been given a hand-aged finishing treatment. The print edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border to draw the eye in and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium to bring out textures and to add a painterly aesthetic. It was also during the hand embellishment process & the laying on of hands that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.

Each original is as unique as a fingerprint.
