The battle with Addiction/Alcoholism is an ongoing fight. A choice must be made. The gull in this piece has a dual symbolism – it changes its meaning from freedom and carefree security to destruction at the hands of a loved one. Here the supposed loved one is herself and/or her addiction to alcohol. (Addiction Series)

Much love and care went into creating & assembling this beautiful original limited edition piece of artwork! Survivor began its creation as a compilation of photographs artfully blended together through digital processes to create the actual imagery. Once the digital image was completed, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a hand-aged birch wood panel. The edges are sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium. It was also during this process that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
Although this is a limited edition of 1:25, each original is as unique as a fingerprint. Price may increase as edition reaches its end.
