Umbrella Dream began its creation as a compilation of photographs artfully blended together through digital processes to create the actual imagery. Once the digital image was complete, it was brilliantly transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a custom created poplar wood panel. The edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium. Extra medium was applied to the rippling sand and the cracks on the statue to add texture, dimension & depth embellishments for added emphasis. It was also during the hand embellishment process & the laying on of hands that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
Each original is as unique as a fingerprint.
