The Unalome Symbol contains the sacred lotus flower, which represents our ascendance from earthly struggle to enlightenment. As a Buddhist symbol, it also represents Shiva’s 3rd Eye, and the spiraling lines signify the wavering path it takes to find truth and balance. While this image is heavily weighted in Christian theme and symbolism, I feel the meaning if the Unalome symbol is further emphasized in shedding dogma of any 1 specific religion and embracing a more spiritual perspective on the path to truth and balance in our spiritual lives.
