Unconditional Love:

While some may initially view this as being from the Addict’s point of view, my healing motivated me to create it from the point of view of the Loved One of the Addict who continually and blindly gives her love no matter what the cost…. even if the cost is her own life or that of another. “Her” voice needs to be heard.. “Her” love is unconditional and often times unrequited. “She” often takes an enormous amount of abuse, whether physical, mental or emotional at a very great risk of taking on an insurmountable amount of damage to “her” psyche and to “her” soul. If the Addict were to die from overdose, “she” would also carry with “her” guilt that “her” love could not save “him/her”.

You may see “her” as weak… however to endure thru so much trauma as a relationship of this nature requires tremendous strength of heart and will. How great “her” capacity to love must be! How beautiful is “her” heart! POWERFUL!
