Perhaps you have heard of the phrase, “Trial by fire” or “Baptism by fire.” This is the personification of the devastating yet purifying power of Fire with Fire being representative of transformation.

Wildfire began its creation as a simple bald self-portrait photograph which then was artfully blended together through digital processes to create the storm around her head. Once the digital image was complete, it was transformed into an archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matte Paper with an Ultrasmooth finish 308gsm weight. The print was coated with a print shield protectant and dry-mounted onto a custom poplar wood panel. The edges were then sanded and bevelled to give a slight white border and to marry the print to the panel. Once the adhesive had cured completely, the MAGIC began! Yuli then added life & movement to the imagery by creating brushstrokes with acrylic gel medium. It was also during the hand embellishment process & the laying on of hands that Yuli infused healing heart frequencies from her heart into the art.
Each original is as unique as a fingerprint.
